I used a bit of cut n paste to make this one work and I hate taking away the structure of the originals, but I had no choice to make this work. Everybody knows the song.....it has that "I smoke weed....I'm a smoker.....get it" kinda' meaning behind it's lyrics. I've never heard a good mix of it before (not that mines any better) and I got my hands on a DIY acapella. So I sort of turned Stevie into a rapper instead of a soft rock legend. You can hear the bits that didn't get filtered out and so I higlighted them instead of hiding them. Hope you like it. I tried to keep the "sing-a-long" tradition of the song in place, so there's not much change from the original. Will work best in a room full of drunk people me thinks!

Well....I had high hopes for this one. It just didn't turn out as 'tight' as I'd would have liked it to. I think maybe the instrumental gets slightly repetitive (or maybe I just heard it a 1000 times already) or maybe I'm being too self critical. The acapella was really all over the place and my instrumental was giving me problems all across the board. I got to a point where I said F' it.....it's good enough for me to use, so here we go. Firstly...I'd like to thank everyone for helping me break the 15,000 download mark. It's an achievement I never thought I could reach in a year and I hope you enjoy the tracks as much as I enjoy making them. So let's celebrate....with more bootlegs!!

The first one on the list was a challenge because John Mayer can't keep rhythm for shit! But with all the Obama crazies running around...this boot kinda' fits. It's like if Obama was a rapper, this would be his style. The beats are a bit choppy and scattered at times (not the way I like it) but the break in the middle is real funky and I had to run with it. Dusting off the Halloween and Thanksgiving spiderwebs I whipped up this little cut and paste. I tried to keep the integrity of Mr. Roboto and cut out as much fiddy cent as I saw fit (can't stand him).
